ANTI-WRINKLE INJECTIONS

Anti-aging injections, commonly known as ‘botox’ (botulinum toxin) Botox is a brand name of a toxin made by the bacterium Clostridium botulinum. It is a non surgical treatment for both men and women to treat fine lines, wrinkles and overactive muscles.

This works by blocking signals from the nerves to the muscles. The injected muscle relaxes causing the wrinkles to relax and soften resulting in a more youthful appearance.

It is most common for crows feet, frown lines & forehead lines.

Here at The Aesthetic Collective we offer treatment for 1area, 2areas, 3areas & Masseter muscle (jawline slimming)

Please note that if you are looking to book in for forehead lines, this is classed as two areas as the frown muscles will also need to be treated to prevent eyebrow droop.

When coming to your appointment with The Aesthetic Collective, you will initially be greeted & welcomed into clinic.

Prior to your procedure you will have a full consultation where we will assess and discuss your options. We will also cover any questions you may have and what to expect from your treatment.

After consultation, the treatment area will be cleaned prior to procedure. After this, botulinum toxin will be injected into the skin, targeting specific muscles, using a very fine needle.

Once the procedure is complete, we will go over the aftercare and what to expect after the treatment. You will receive verbal and written advice.

You will not see an immediate result after treatment as it takes 2-4 days before the muscles begin to relax. You can expect to see maximum results 10-14 days post treatment.

We invite you to book a review 2-4 weeks post treatment for a review and further treatment if required.

The effects can last 3-6 months, this is determined by age, lifestyle, metabolism
